10 Great Pool and Spa Games

10 Great Pool or Spa Games

If you have a pool or spa, you may be looking for fun activities to enjoy in them! Here are 10 great ones that you can try in your own pool or spa.

Dolphin Race. Each group has a volleyball that they have to move from one end to the other of the pool, using nothing but your nose to push the ball. If you use your hands, you have to go back. The first group to get to the finish line wins.

Bobble Heads. You know the little bobble heads that you can get of different celebrities and characters? That’s what you will look like when you play this game. Line up on one side of the pool, and one person is “it.” The people lined up need to bounce the ball back and forth between them, and the person that is it needs to pop in and out of the water, trying to hit the ball with their head, and ultimately trying to hit one of the other players with the ball. If someone gets hit, they’re out.

Boat Races. Get all of the supplies that you need to make little boats. Get creative with what you want to try and use! Cardboard boxes, construction paper, tape, and whatever else you may need to make worthy vessels. Let your kids put them together, and either allow them to race or see which ones will stay on the water.

Catch the Croc! Get some rings or hula hoops and a couple of inflatable crocodiles. Then, let the kids throw the rings at the crocs, trying to “ring” the head or tail. When someone gets a ring on a croc, they swim out, hop on the croc, and swim it back.

HORSE. This old favorite that is usually used on the basketball game people play on the court. Basically, one person does a task, others have to copy them. If someone can’t copy it, they start spelling out the word “HORSE.” You can use different water words as well, like “Fish” or “water” to make it more fitting.

Shove the Duckies!  Put 3-4 players toward one side of the pool and provide for them one elastic duck each. When you say go, they must utilize their nose to push the duck to the next end of the pool. They can likewise "blow" the duck forward; they simply can't bite the duck and swim to the next end with it in their mouths. Nor would they be able to touch their duck with their hands or feet.

Water Dancing. Have people or groups choreograph water dances to their most loved songs. Recommend utilizing waterproof props and outfits to make the "show" more imaginative. At that point welcome family, companions and neighbors over to watch the debut.

Find the “Hidden” Bottle. Take a 2-liter container, take off the wrapper, and fill it with pool water. Attempt to utilize a jug with a white top, or a top of the same color as the floor tiles of the pool. Isolate everybody into two groups and line them up. One of the players, remains outside the pool and tosses the container in the water. When they hear the splash, the players turn around and attempt to find the now “invisible” bottle.

Alligator Wrasslin’! Get an enormous inflatable alligator and pick a few people to wrestle the gator. The person who does the most fun and extravagant display of “wrasslin’” wins.

Whirlpool. Get everyone in the pool to walk around the edge in one direction for about 1 to 2 minutes. After there seems to be a large enough whirlpool, have people take turns trying to go against the whirl – it’s difficult!
